#CALLIFABSQUAD: CALLI COSMETICS PH
Recently, I got the chance to be a part of a squad that is called #UltimateCalliFabSquad. I joined Calli Cosmetics’ search and luckily I am one of the chosen. On the other hand, the winners (including me) got the chance to score a box full of Calli Cosmetics products to play and enjoy. Now, if you are not yet familiar with Calli Cosmetics here’s my review about them and I will share my #CalliGoodies too.
Calli Cosmetics was supposed to be named after “Carrie” (Jessica Parker’s character’s name in the Sex in the City) since the founders are all avid fans of the said series but, they eventually agreed to name their brand “Calli” to make it extra modern and more appealing to the millennial crowd. They launch their brand last December 2016 with a wide range of products to choose from, from classic and liquid lipsticks, lip care products like lip balm and lip scrub, eyebrow pencils, cc cushions, and lip/cheeks stains.
Calli Cosmetics aim is to provide quality and affordable yet classy cosmetics for everyone. Their motto is being fabulous doesn’t have to break the bank, while their tagline is “Be Classy, Be Calli”. All our products are priced reasonably below P500 to cater to the younger crowd and young at heart too. All Calli Products are made from quality ingredients and great formulation plus, its lead, paraben, and cruelty-free cosmetics.
REVIEW: Now, the Calli “Fab” Box they sent to me contains; four (4) Organic Lip & Cheeks Stain, one (1) Matte Lip Paint, one (1) Lip & Cheek Crème Weightless Matte, two (2) Pout & Bloom Creamy Soft Matte Lippies, five (5) Powder Mattes, one (1) Eyebrow Pencil, one (1) Organic Tinted Lip Balm, one (1) Crème Brulee Lip Scrub, and one (1) Compact Cushion. This lip tint tastes so sweet plus I like the natural colors and the pigment too. Though, it doesn’t stay longer on my lip which is why I need to retouch again.
I must say that all these matte liquid lipsticks are the bomb! They are matte BUT it’s non-drying and has moisturizing effect plus the colors are extremely vivid.
While these powder mattes are lightweight, easy to apply, smooth, creamy and pigmented too.
Then, they also have more products to help you rock your everyday look but for this set, I will make a different blog review about it together with my CALLI MAKEUP LOOK. (Stay tuned for that!)
FINAL THOUGHT: I love the formulation of their products and the color selections for the lipsticks but I just have to comment about their packaging (I really love great packaging) it needs a little improvement especially when it comes to sturdiness. Nonetheless, their products are great and for an affordable price, you can BE FABULOUS without breaking the piggy bank.
