NOW & AFTER: MADECASSOSIDE WHITENING TONER AND 3X WHITENING CREAM

Before the ECQ (Enhanced Community Quarantine) I have been experiencing acne all over my forehead and caused dark spots after they are cured. Luckily I was given a chance to try these two products from Now & After that helps me with my skin concerns.


Madecassoside Whitening Toner is an all-in-one toner that can whiten, trouble care, and moisturize the skin all at the same time. It costs P990.00, weighs 150ml, and comes with very sturdy packaging. Its main ingredients are:

  • Hyaluronic Acid helps to increase skin moisture and reduce the appearance of fine lines;
  • Adenosine is a yeast-derived ingredient that has proven anti-wrinkle benefit;
  • Niacinamide that helps to minimize enlarged pores and to even skin tone;
  • Madecassoside has anti-inflammatory properties;
  • Centella Asiatica can speed healing and helps to prevent scarring and future blemishes and last but the least is;
  • Collagen keeps skin elasticity that prevents fine lines and wrinkles from forming.

I used other whitening toners before and this one is the best because it is very mild and I did not feel any stinging feeling or irritation at all while the scent is super relaxing (smells like tea tree oil but mild).


Madecassoside 3x Whitening Cream is also an all-in-one cream that will surely make your skin healthy and brighter. It has Whitening, Anti-wrinkle, Skin Repair, Skin Protection, and Skin Regeneration. It costs P1,280, weighs 50ml, and squeeze tube packaging. Its main ingredients are:

  • Ethyl Ascorbyl Ether 10,000PPM is derived from vitamin C which has antioxidant and skin lightening properties;
  • Niacinamide 20,000PPM that helps to minimize enlarged pores and to even skin tone;
  • Glutathione 5,000PPM helps in skin whitening and lightening by converting melanin to a lighter color and deactivating the enzyme which helps produce the pigment.
  • PPM means parts per million



This cream is so lightweight and non-greasy. It is also cruelty-free and paraben-free. The scent is similar to the toner while its consistency is close to watery and it is fast absorbing.


REVIEW: 
The left photo was taken last April 1, 2020, and the right photo was taken last April 17, 2020. For only two weeks and a half using the products, the results are awesome. It helps my dark spots fade away as well as the tiny bumps and also, it made my skin glowing, soft, and "pinkish" too you can really tell the difference. By the way, until now I am still using the toner and cream twice a day (morning and night) for better results - the road to clear skin hehe.


VERDICT:
I believed in investing in good skincare regardless of its price if it is worth it, it will eventually pay off. And I know the products above are a bit expensive for toner and cream but if you are looking for a quality one you might consider this combo. You'll love it as much as I do.
